Introduction

Vieworks Limited ('ViewFi', 'we', or 'us') provides software that helps online businesses (our 'Customers') run video marketing campaigns that reward users for watching these videos ('Campaign Users').

You can review our Privacy Policy for Campaign Users here. Security and privacy are critical to our platform. This Privacy Policy governs how ViewFi collects, uses, maintains, and discloses information collected from customers on our website (viewfi.io) and our application (app.viewfi.io).

To ensure confidentiality and lawful processing of data, ViewFi operates in strict compliance with the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons regarding the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (GDPR).

Customers and Visitors of our Site

ViewFi uses cookies to enable our application to function and does not use cookies for retargeting nor sell cookie data to third parties. Cookies used by ViewFi Application are set to automatically expire after 12 months.

How We Use Collected Information

ViewFi may collect and use User's personal information for the following purposes:

  • To administer our Website and for internal operations, including troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, research, statistical, and survey purposes.
  • To send periodic emails: We may use the email address to send User information and updates regarding their subscription. It may also be used to respond to inquiries, questions, and/or other requests.
  • To send marketing emails keeping customers up to date with software development progress, which users can opt out of at any time.

Sharing Information With Third Parties

ViewFi does not sell, trade, or rent Customer personal identification information to third parties. Once you provide access to specific data, it belongs to the Customer running that specific Campaign and only that Customer.

Customers and Visitors of our Site

ViewFi may use third-party service providers to help operate our business or administer activities on our behalf, such as sending out newsletters or collecting Website analytics. We may share your information with these third parties for those limited purposes, provided that you have given us your permission.

Sub-Processors

ViewFi engages certain onward sub-processors that may process personal data submitted to ViewFi services. These sub-processors include:

  • Google Business Suite - Emails and docs
  • Stripe - Payment Processor
  • Fresh Sales - CRM
  • SendGrid - Email Distribution
  • Crisp - Website Support
  • Rownd - SSO Provider

Legal Disclosures

In certain limited circumstances, we may disclose your personal data to public authorities and other third parties if the disclosure is in response to lawful requests, including for national security or law enforcement purposes. Your personal information may also be disclosed to third parties when required by law or regulation, such as in response to court orders and subpoenas. ViewFi may also share personal data with third parties to prevent, investigate, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to physical safety, violations of our Terms of Service, or as otherwise required by law.

Information Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect any personal information we process about visitors to our Website against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, no Internet transmission can ever be guaranteed 100% secure. We encourage you to take care when disclosing personal information online and use tools like Internet firewalls and secure email to protect yourself. Sensitive and private data exchange between the Site and its Users happens over an SSL-secured communication channel and is encrypted and protected with digital signatures. ViewFi uses Stripe to process credit card payments, and no credit card details are stored on our servers. Stripe is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1, the most stringent level of certification available. In case of an unauthorized security intrusion that materially affects you or your mailing list, ViewFi will notify you as soon as possible and will report the action we took in response within a reasonable time.

EU and EEA Residents

The servers where ViewFi stores all personal data are located on Amazon AWS EC2. If you are located in a country member of either the EU or the EEA, please be aware that any information provided to us, including personal information, will be transferred from your country of origin to the US. Except in the case of data transfers under the EU-US Privacy Shield and the Swiss-US Privacy Shield, we may ask for your express consent to provide such data to us or allow us to collect such data.

Data Processing Agreement

If you are our Customer and your company is either located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland or your company, by using our services, is processing the data of anyone who is in the EEA or Switzerland, then you can request our GDPR-compliant Data Processing Agreement by submitting a support ticket from the Support tab inside you,r account.

Data Retention Periods

ViewFi will not retain data longer than necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected or as required by applicable laws or regulations. If a Customer or User account has been suspended for a Terms of Service violation, ViewFi will retain the information necessary to continue enforcing this suspension for up to 10 years.

Privacy Controls & Choices

Our Customers, Site Visitors, and Users have a choice about how we use their personal data to get in touch with them and may choose to opt out at any time by unsubscribing or changing their account settings.

Your Rights

We provide all Customers, Visitors, and Users of our Site with the opportunity to request access, correction, restriction, deletion, data portability, or opposition to any personal information previously provided to us in connection with using our Website, as required by law.
